Griffin Partners Breaks Ground on Griffin 288/West Airport Industrial Development in South Houston

Griffin Partners, in partnership with Peakline Real Estate Funds, announced the groundbreaking of Griffin 288/West Airport, the next phase of its industrial development in South Houston. The project will total 568,619 square feet across three Class A buildings on 40 acres.

The groundbreaking marks a major step forward for the team as they move from planning into full execution. After securing and assembling adjacent parcels throughout 2024 and 2025, Griffin Partners and Peakline now have the ability to deliver the entire three-building plan on a coordinated timeline. The result is a unified, modern industrial campus designed for users who want both efficiency and strong regional access.

CBRE’s Faron Wiley and Billy Gold will lead leasing efforts for the project. Located in the South Houston submarket with direct access to Highway 288, the site connects easily to the Texas Medical Center, the Port of Houston, I-610, and Beltway 8. The location and scale of the development offer flexibility for a wide range of industrial users.

Construction is underway, and all three buildings are scheduled to deliver between April and June 2026.
