Griffin Partners has been active in the value add office and retail acquisition market, as well as development of speculative and build-to-suit office, retail and mixed-used projects for over 30 years. We are especially proud of our contributions to Houston’s infrastructure and are honored to be involved in the recently announced expansion of the George R Brown Convention Center. Our subsidiary, Griffin Partners Development, focuses on build-to-suit office and industrial projects in Houston, San Antonio, Austin, and Dallas/Fort Worth, and targets other active markets such as Phoenix, Raleigh, Charlotte and Tampa. GPD also executes Fee Development projects, primarily in our home market of Houston.
Fred Griffin is the visionary and strategist for GPD. His strong business acumen and talent for visualizing valuable and progressive real estate developments have made him one of the leaders in his field. He is adept at assembling numerous pieces of a transaction into a successful final product, and his expertise also includes hands-on construction supervision for projects of all sizes.
Senior management of day to day operations is provided by Chris Broussard, GPD's Executive Vice President. Chris has managed due diligence, design & construction of office buildings (mid-rise and high-rise), parking garages (precast & cast in place), apartments (high-rise & wood framed) as well as complex renovations, and he has significant experience in home building as well.
Our development team's experience, combined with our in-house skills and financial resources in acquisitions and property management, enables Griffin Partners Development to adapt to the appropriate role for each project and then excel whether as the Owner, Developer, or Fee Developer.
