Janie
Snider’s enthusiasm for property management expertise
began with her desire, early in her career, to provide outstanding
customer service. Janie started her career with
a Houston commercial developer in the early 1980’s. In
a property management role, she worked with leasing, development
and accounting personnel to ensure projects were
completed on time and ready for occupancy. During this tenure,
Janie embraced an ownership mindset that focused on tenant retention,
preservation of capital, risk
management and cash flow management.
Janie has 20+ years of property management experience and led Trammell Crow Company’s Houston property management division for five years prior to the CBRE/TCC merger. Janie was responsible for client and tenant satisfaction, financial reporting, and new business transition. In this role, Janie excelled at mentoring property managers and encouraged professional development and implemented best practices. A Senior Vice President of Property Management and Principal with Griffin Partners, Janie provides executive oversight for daily property management operations. Leading through example, Janie ensures that Griffin’s property managers conduct business with a sense of urgency and diligent follow through.
Janie graduated with a degree in Business Administration from the University of Kansas. She holds a Certified Property Manager designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management and is a licensed Texas broker. Currently, Janie is an Executive Council member of the Houston Chapter of the Institute of Real Estate Management. She is a member of Houston BOMA. She enjoys gardening, bird watching and spending time with her first grandchild in Austin.
